Free Meyer Shank Black Sabbath IndyCar Paper Model by Elvis Massa

Not every race car receives a special livery that becomes part of the story behind a race weekend. For the 2025 Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, Meyer Shank Racing transformed Felix Rosenqvist's No. 60 Honda with a striking Black Sabbath-themed design to celebrate the legendary band's farewell concert. The deep black bodywork contrasted with vivid purple graphics, making it one of the most recognizable INDYCAR liveries of the season.

Paper craft hobbyist Elvis Massa recreated the car as a free paper model using a three-page JPG template, with a PDO file included as an assembly reference. The finished model measures approximately 190 mm long, 73 mm wide, and 42 mm tall, making it a display piece that fits comfortably on a desk or shelf.

Although the template keeps the part count manageable, it still preserves the defining features of the Dallara INDYCAR chassis. The layered front wing, exposed suspension arms, sculpted sidepods, engine cover, and rear wing all contribute to the unmistakable silhouette of a modern open-wheel race car. The black and purple color scheme also translates well to paper, allowing the special Mid-Ohio livery to remain the focal point without relying on overly complex construction.
